USC Trojans Legend Reggie Bush To Throw Out First Pitch At Los Angeles Dodgers Game

One of the biggest honors in all of sports is being invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of a baseball game. Many iconic moments throughout sports lore have happened during this moment. Well, we will get another special one here in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced that USC Trojans legend, Reggie Bush, will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch on Friday (5/17) when the Dodgers host the Cincinnati Reds.

Reggie Bush is arguably one of the greatest college football players of all time and played for USC during their heyday. Bush hit a peak moment in 2005 when his 1,740 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground earned him the 2005 Heisman Trophy Award in a landslide vote.

However, he eventually went from a legend of his era to a fallen hero when an NCAA investigation accused him of violating policies related to receiving gifts and payments for attending the school.

Finally, after years of battling and a grassroots effort, the NCAA reinstated Bush’s Heisman Trophy on April 24.

It was a long time coming, and now Reggie Bush will be welcomed back, rightfully so, with all of the other prestigious award winners.

Now Bush can cross another milestone off his list…throwing out the first pitch at iconic Dodger Stadium. It should be fireworks!
