NFL Legend Tom Brady Sends Out Hilarious Birthday Message To Rob Gronkowksi
Kris Craig / USA TODAY NETWORK / USA TODAY NETWORK

Last season was a weird one throughout the NFL, especially due to the former stars who weren’t participating in games. Obviously, Tom Brady wasn’t playing, which was a massive change to the league landscape. Along with him, superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski hung up his cleats as well.

Seeing those two stars playing together had become an expected occurrence for years. They were one of the NFL’s most unstoppable tandems with the New England Patriots and then they both took their talents to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While neither player returned for the 2024 season, they are still very much in contact.

In a situation that gave NFL fans plenty of laughs, Brady sent his former teammate and friend a hilarious message for Gronkowski’s 35th birthday.

Brady sent his birthday message to Gronkowski via an Instagram post. Here’s what he had to say to his partner in crime.

“Had to make @gronk sweat a little bit…did you think I forgot? Happy birthday to the happiest guy I know.”

There are very few teammates who have had the kind of success that Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski had together during their NFL careers. They won a total of four Super Bowls together. Those are the kinds of bonds that are never broken.

Just looking at the careers of both players will tell you the story that you need to know.

Gronkowski ended up playing in 143 career games, catching 621 passes for 9,286 yards and 92 touchdowns. His career accomplishments have placed him in the conversation, if not at the top, of the all-time NFL tight end rankings.

As for Tom Brady, there are very few out there that would argue against him being the greatest player of all-time. However, Patrick Mahomes is starting to make a case to take over that title when everything is said and done.

All of that being said, it’s always great to see Brady and Gronkowski publicly stay in touch. They were fun to watch on the field and fun to watch off the field. While they’re not longer playing in the NFL, fans still love to keep up with their lives away from the game.
